Any high school student at CPHS. Recommended for students enrolled in Algebra II and above.

AMC American Mathematics Competition - 2018

 

Who is eligible?

  • 9th and 10th graders eligible for the AMC 10 which covers topics up through 10th grade math.
  • 11th and 12th graders eligible for the AMC 12 which covers advanced algebra, advanced geometry, and trigonometry. Competition does not include calculus.

The AMC 10/12 is the first in a series of competitions that eventually lead all the way to the International Mathematical Olympiad 

 

Competition scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2018 and Thursday, February 15, 2018. Both tests will take place during RTI and lunch.

 

Students must sign up (using the link below) by Friday, January 26, 2018 in order to take the test.

Moody's Mega Math Challenge

Who is eligible?

11th and 12th graders from anywhere in the United States, including territories and DoDEA schools. Homeschool and cyberschool students are eligible. Teams must be comprised of three to five students and one teacher-coach and a maximum of two teams per high school may register.
