Welcome to AP Statistics! At least one statistics course is typically required for majors such as engineering, psychology, sociology, health science, and business. ( Click this link for a more comprehensive list of majors requiring statistics.) The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. It is equivalent to a one semester college level Statistics course. See below for a general timeline.

Teacher Availability

Students are encouraged to contact me at strangek@mdusd.org. I check email frequently (even on weekends). I am available after school every day (except Tuesday) from 2:45 to 4:00. I do have meetings with students so please talk to me ahead of time to check my availability.

 

Students are also encouraged to get a pass to visit me during RTI on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
