BACKGROUND: Upon graduation from UCSD, Ms. Strange began working for General Dynamics Space Systems Division as a financial analyst. Her job entailed conducting statistical analysis to determine the number of hours it would take to build and inspect the Atlas-Centaur Launch vehicles. Eventually, the Space Systems Division was absorbed by another company and Ms. Strange returned to school to obtain her teaching credential in Mathematics as well as a Master's Degree in Education. Since then, Ms. Strange has taught Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and AP Statistics at schools in San Diego and recently at College Park. For 12 years, Ms. Strange wrote mathematics curriculum for major publishers such as Holt, Pearson, Houghton-Mifflin, and many others. Ms. Strange joined College Park in February of 2014.
